This Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between the participants of Aquadac ("Participant" or "Participants") and Aquadac ("Organizer"), an unincorporated nonprofit organization in Maryland, USA, created by Douglas Butner. By participating in Aquadac meetings, the Participant agrees to abide by the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.


By participating in Aquadac meetings, the Participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in all sections of this Agreement.


Meeting Agreement


  1. Recording Consent

The Participant consents to be recorded (audio and/or video) by any member during weekly meetings organized by Aquadac. The Participant understands that these recordings may be used for training, promotional, or educational purposes and may be shared on various platforms, including but not limited to, social media, websites, or podcasts. A participant that wants to record is requested but not required to inform the group they are recording and share general plans for the recording.

  1. Publicly Accessible Information

The Participant agrees that their name, profile picture, and any contributions made during the meetings may be published publicly on the Aquadac Notion page or any other public platform, excluding our internal Google Sheets document, which should not be shared publicly and only shared privately and directly to a newly initiated member.

  1. English Language Requirement

To ensure clear communication and understanding among Participants, the Participant agrees to use English as the primary language during Aquadac meetings, including for the 3:30 recap.

  1. Basic Behavior Guidelines for Online Meetings

The Participant agrees to maintain a respectful and professional demeanor during Aquadac meetings. This includes, but is not limited to:

a. Respecting others' opinions and refraining from disruptive behavior. b. Avoiding offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate language. c. Ensuring that their background and attire are appropriate for a professional setting. d. Muting their microphone when not speaking to minimize background noise. e. Putting on silly hats when requested or when observing other members putting on silly hats f. Welcoming new members with your unique vocal expression during induction g. Respect the role of Host and other roles within Aquadac

  1. Open Source and Replicability

The Participant acknowledges that Aquadac's technology is open source unless otherwise noted. This means that others may create their own versions of Aquadac or use Aquadac's technology, as long as they comply with the applicable open-source license(s). Using the Aquadac or Aquarius Academy name is permitted in any context aligned with our stated goals, vision, mission, pillars, and foundation for members and former members, but considered our intellectial property

  1. Modification and Termination

The Organizer reserves the right to modify or terminate this Agreement at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes to this Agreement before the meeting where the changes are presented and continued participation after two weeks of the change in the Participation Agreement in Aquadac meetings constitutes acceptance of any such modifications.
